Proposing Member Society
Draw
up a detailed proposal to establish a technical committee stating the terms of
reference, duration, operation plans, and list of members. Submit the proposal
to ACECC Secretariat

Register
and forward proposal to TCC for review
TCC
1.
Distribute the proposal to each TCC member.
2.
Each member of TCC reviews the proposal in accordance with TCC guidelines.
3.
Evaluate the need for the proposed TC.
4.
Hold Q&A session with proposing member society (if necessary).
5.
Revise and finalize proposal according to Q&A results.
6.
Determine whether all issues are resolved from the Q&A results (yes or no).
7.
If “yes”, forward proposal to EC; if “no”, return proposal to proposing member
society.
EC
Make
a decision on approval for the establishment of the proposed new TC.

TCC Review Guidelines
1.
The proposed TC should satisfy the Bylaws of ACECC
2.
The proposed TC should be operated and managed by the proposing member society.
3.
The financial plan should be well established and funding should come from
sources
other than ACECC (i.e., no
financial support will be available from ACECC).
4.
Leadership of the TC should be limited to ACECC members.
